The Special Needs of Youth in the Juvenile Justice System: Implications for Effective Practice is a manual that has been put together to assist judges, attorneys, and other practitioners in their work with youth in the juvenile justice system who have mental health and/or other disabling conditions. It is offered free of charge to these practitioners in order to enhance the provision of more effective advocacy and treatment for this population of young people.
