Help Cameo House Rebuild its Playground

Located in the heart of the Mission District, CJCJ’s Cameo House has been serving women with children experiencing homelessness since 1998.

Cameo House needs your help to renovate our playground for San Francisco’s most vulnerable kids. Our unique program offers a transformative opportunity for justice-involved women and their children. Cameo House is a residential alternative to incarceration, where participants can live with their children while receiving comprehensive support services. By keeping families together, we are working to break the intergenerational cycle of incarceration that has harmed so many. 

We create a safe, nurturing environment that empowers women to rebuild their lives and fosters stronger family bonds. Since its inception, the program has been a beacon of hope, helping participants to navigate the challenges of reintegration and to thrive in their community. Cameo House keeps families together and provides access to an even broader array of services by building relationships with other community partners.

For years our backyard playground has been a place of intergenerational family healing and bonding. Countless families have built joyous memories around this space. The time has come for us to rebuild it for future families to enjoy for the years to come. The cost for a new, safe and stable playground is $30,000. We are asking for community support with this cost.

Your generous donation will allow us to renovate Cameo House’s playground. This space provides a safe and welcoming environment for kids.
