Study: Can't link crime increases to realignment

The Center on Juvenile and Criminal Justice is a San Francisco-based nonprofit that advocates alternatives to incarceration. Its report, which compared 2012 crime rates to 2010, concluded there was wide variation among California’s 58 counties both in how they have complied with realignment as well as their respective crime rates.
