The Center on Juvenile and Criminal Justice (CJCJ) is a community-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to reduce society’s reliance on incarceration as a solution to social problems. We do this through the provision of programs for persons facing detention, education efforts and policy advocacy, and technical assistance.
CJCJ is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Case Manager to join our Youth Justice Services team. The main goal is to support and serve youth and transitional-aged young adults impacted by the justice system. The chosen candidate will develop personalized reentry plans and strategies to reduce unnecessary institutionalization and promote tailored interventions. They will connect youth with community resources and provide ongoing intensive case management and support. The role requires working closely with community stakeholders, including providers, defense attorneys, judges, probation officers, and prosecutors, to ensure a collaborative approach. The position involves working both in the office and in the field within San Francisco and nearby counties.
